How To TAKE CARE OF YOUR fresh flowers

Flower Arrangements

  • Check the water level and make sure the vase is filled as some water might have spilled out during delivery. You’ll want to check this daily as some flowers are more thirsty than others!

  • Try to change your water daily or at least every other day. Find an opening and place your faucet close to the rim of the vase. Flush out the old water with cool clean water for 30 seconds.

  • Be sure to keep your flowers out of direct sunlight and away from heat. We know how Instagram worthy they can look with the sun shining on them but prolonged time in direct light will make your flowers sad.

  • Nothing lasts forever (unless it’s one of our dried bouquets!) so pull stems out of the vase as they expire.

Wrapped Bouquets

  • Make sure to have a clean vase handy. Try to choose a vase with a narrow opening so the flowers can stand up sturdy and fill this vase all the way up with clean water. You’ll want to ensure each stem hits the water and is drinking!

  • Unwrap your bouquet and remove any leaves that may become submerged in water.

  • Hold the whole bouquet in your hand and give each stem a sharp 45 degree angle cut then immediately place the bouquet in your vase.

  • You’ll want to check the water level and change it out daily. And if you’re feeling fancy you can also give the stems a fresh cut every few days to help keep them fresh.

EVERLASTING DRIED FLOWERS

  • Keep away from excessive humidity, water and direct sunlight as it may fade colors faster.

  • Handle with care as most stems are delicate.

  • Some shedding will occur. The less you move or disturb the flowers the less this will occur.

  • Bleached and dyed flowers should not be composted.
